About the role:
The Network InfraSec Engineer will play a key role in the design, migration and ongoing operation of enterprise network and security platforms. Operating within a payments-grade environment, the role demands strong adherence to security standards, formal change control and operational governance, ensuring minimal service disruption and consistent stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Design, implement, and support secure network and firewall architectures across enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
- Manage multi-vendor firewall platforms, including policy design, segmentation, threat prevention and centralized management.
- Deliver network and firewall migrations using structured runbooks, validation testing and rollback strategies.
- Execute phased cutovers to minimise downtime and business impact.
- Support secure VPN connectivity for site-to-site and remote access use cases.
- Participate in ITIL-aligned change management processes, including impact assessments, CAB submissions, and post-implementation reviews.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including pre- and post-change reports and operational handover materials.
- Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders in regulated environments.
