The client is a leading manufacturing and distributing FMCG company with a national presence and three key operational hubs. For almost 30 years, they have been providing some of the most loved and trusted brands in their industry.
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA to join an SAP implementation project in a modern warehouse environment.
In this role, you will act as the key link between warehouse operations and the SAP project team, ensuring that SAP EWM (including Material Flow System – MFS) is correctly implemented, adopted, and supported in daily operations.
You will be involved throughout the full lifecycle of the project – from design and testing to go-live and post-go-live support – with a strong hands-on focus in the warehouse.
What you will do:
- Requirements & Process Validation: Review and validate warehouse business processes and requirements during the design phase. Ensure SAP EWM functional specifications accurately reflect real operational needs.
- Testing & UAT Ownership: Create and execute test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), covering real-life warehouse scenarios and edge cases. Identify gaps and collaborate with the project team to resolve issues before go-live.
- Key User & End-User Training: Participate in key user training to gain deep system knowledge. Prepare clear training materials and deliver hands-on training sessions for warehouse users.
- Master Data & Configuration Support: Maintain and update critical SAP EWM master data and configuration (materials, storage bins, control parameters) to ensure stable system operation.
- Go-Live & 1st-Level Support: Provide first-level support to warehouse users after go-live. Resolve day-to-day SAP EWM issues related to inventory, scanners, transactions, or interfaces.
- SAP EWM MFS & Automation Support: Support SAP EWM Material Flow System (MFS) in an automated warehouse environment. Monitor integrations with automation equipment and assist in troubleshooting MFS-related incidents.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for external vendors (e. g. warehouse automation providers). Coordinate issue resolution for system and integration incidents.
- Continuous Improvement: Collect user feedback, contribute to change requests, support testing of enhancements, and help roll out improvements post-implementation.
What we are looking for:
- Strong warehouse operations background, with hands-on experience in inbound, outbound, and inventory processes.
- Good understanding of SAP EWM, preferably SAP S/4HANA EWM; knowledge of EWM MFS is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with enterprise systems (SAP GUI or similar), strong Excel skills
- Solid testing and UAT experience in a business or project environment.
- Ability to understand and work with process documentation and system integrations.
- Good level of English (written and spoken).
- Available for a hands-on, full-time role, especially during testing and go-live phases.
What We Offer:
- Opportunity to work in a top-tier FMCG company with a stable and experienced IT team.
- Engaging project that leverages your SAP EWM expertise.
- Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
- A collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Modern office facilities located downtown Bucharest.
