In this position, you will identify, define, analyze, prioritize and refine the product requirements, and will communicate those requirements to the Scrum development team. The Product Owner will work directly with internal and external stakeholders as well as with the development team to ensure successful translation of those requirements into high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders (ranging from management to clients) to define, develop, shape and refine requirements.
• Acquire a solid understanding of our users, the marketplace, and trends. Study competitive offerings in the market and anticipate customer needs.
• Define, prioritize, and clarify user stories; working with key stakeholders to understand use cases, features, business & technical domain rules and overall product goals.
• Attend sprint and team demos. Inspect the product progress.
• Work with engineering teams to continuously improve product ownership and other agile processes.
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master, UX Designers and Technical Leads to run successful Release Planning and Sprint Planning sessions, as well as Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Work closely with Customer Success department to announce feature releases.
• Maintain the functional quality of the work being delivered by setting and evaluating expectations and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate priorities based on well-defined and measured business cases.
• Establish goals and metrics to measure effectiveness after release; monitor & report on progress.
• Produce technically focused user stories and collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Build and groom product backlog(s). Create and groom short, medium and long-term product roadmaps and get internal agreement with key stakeholders.
• Understand and advocate best practices in high-level system designs.

• You’re ready to play an “all hands on deck” role at a fast-growing, early stage company – with the ability to prioritize and think strategically about how to improve processes to make our users experience even better.
• You have outstanding technical and non-technical communication skills.
• You have the ability to understand and abstract complex systems from technical descriptions.
• You had success designing or implementing mobile and SaaS products.
