As Product Analyst you will complement the client’s internal consumer product capabilities acting as a vital link between their business, their products, their customers, and delivery teams. You will have a passion for data and a drive to use it to inform and drive critical business decisions, taking charge and helping to shape the future of our clients’ product development, sales and marketing campaigns with high quality insights and detailed analysis.
You will have a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, both business stakeholders and technical professionals such as Data Engineers.
Key accountabilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis on consumer behaviour, insights and product performance to inform product & marketing strategies and decision-making.
- Determine the right data reporting structures, interpret data, identify trends and make recommendations for strategic improvement.
- Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and success criteria for new product launches and feature releases.
- Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses, validating assumptions and investigating new opportunities for adding value.
- Monitor marketing campaigns and product performance and recommend improvements to increase acquisition, conversion and retention.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key product metrics.
- Work closely with Data Engineers for building data collection, data reporting and data visualization structures.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders and make data-driven recommendations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in product analytics.
- Promote a culture of partnership, teamwork, innovation and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Qualifications & Skills
- SQL and Python
- Data visualization, analysis and reporting tools (e. g. Excel, Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)
- Proficiency in mobile and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google PlayConsole, App Store Connect, etc.)
- Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methods
Advantageous but not essential:
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools (e. g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hadoop)
- Experience in marketing and customer acquisition campaigns
- Knowledge of subscription business models
