Job Accountant/Contabil /Economist @ Affidea

Must have

• University/College degree in Economics/Accounting/Business
• English skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory
• Junior Accountat with minimum 1-2 years in a similar role, or Competent Accountant, with minimum 2-4 years in a similar role
• Knowledge to execute accounting transaction

Nice to have

• Ability to manage/monitor accounting responsibilities
• Analytical thinking, ability to perform data analysis
• Ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• The ability to self-start and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Monthly Closing & Reporting activities

The main responsibilities of an Accountant in Affidea Romania is to provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and to prepare various reports.

Responsibilities:

BOOKING

• Bookkeeping all financial documents and supports the chief accountant in managing all day-to-day, monthly and quarterly accounting activities
• Adheres to internal financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems

STATUTORY

• Delivers statutory accounting and compliance
• Provides data to audit team & participates in preparation of financial statements ensuring full compliance with local legislation
• Prepares local accounting policies as required by Group or regulations

REPORTING

• Manages the month end close for the accounts assigned, balance sheet reconciliations & internal reporting
• Performs monthly analytics for the accounts assigned and presents to superiors

QUALITY

• Maintains a system of controls over accounting transactions
• Ensures a consistent application of accounting policies and procedures

COOPERATION

• Collaborates with stakeholders including department managers, as appropriate
• Supports Corporate HQ on accounting and finance issues, including necessary reportin
• Collaboration with controllers to enable them to analyze and report the company performance with better quality
