Skill requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions
- Proven commercial development experience using Python
- Your knowledge is up-to-date, you just know what’s going on with:
- WebServices REST
- Django
- Pandas
- Numpy
- Postgress/MySQL
- OAuth2
- Git
- CI/CD (Jenkins)
- Understanding of and experience with application architectures (Serverless, Microservices, SOA, MVC)
- Experience with unit testing/mocking frameworks
- Experience with PHP and Amazon AWS services (Lambda functions, Cognito, SNS, SES, S3) is a plus
- Experience with Agile
- Understanding of the full development cycle and some experience of Agile development methodologies and supporting tools e. g. JIRA, Confluence
- At least 3 years experience
Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features
- Maintain and improve functionality on our existing software products
- Maintain and improve team coding standards and best practices
- Perform technical analysis of requirements
- Collaborate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule
- Code reviews
