Job IT Project Manager @ Gabteo

Our client is one of the youngest Group entities that provides billing services to France, Italy, MiddleEast, Romania, Spain and Croatia. The services are based on high tech consumptions transmissions from sub metering systems for water, heat and cooling utilities – especially in apartment buildings and commercial properties.

We are searching for an IT Project Manager to:

• manage the delivery of complex multi-disciplinary projects within agreed scope, time and budget;
• work with local key-users and subject-matter experts, corporate resources, external vendors, as well as internal clients;
• facilitate the implementation of business applications.

Position Summary

As IT Project Manager you are managing an integrated applications implementation in Austria. For this project you are coordinating several internal teams of Software Engineers responsible for the development of corporate integrated platforms. The teams cover all disciplines of software delivery, beginning with business analysis, up to requirements engineering, test and support. You also coordinate third-party development partners as well as internal International business partners within the project context to effectively manage priorities and capacities, while monitoring and reporting the overall project status to ensure its success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage roll-out projects of integrated corporate platforms in International environment;
• Proactively manage priorities and changes in project scope, estimating timelines, identifying potential risks, and deriving mitigation plans;
• Define project success criteria considering involved parties throughout the project lifecycle;
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members, and enable them to proactively take accountability for their assigned work;
• Accurately manage expectations for the project delivery, regularly report the status and escalate issues or critical risks about deadlines as early as possible to senior management to enable appropriate corrective actions; Closely cooperate with other International platform teams which together provide the coherent portfolio of integrated corporate systems.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree with similar experience in international environment; Experience in the information technology or software development industries; Ascertained track of completed complex projects as responsible project manager;
• Fluent in German and English, both in writing and speaking;
• Proven knowledge of working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework);
• Demonstrate ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals;
• Ability to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing;
• Ability to generate technical but user-friendly procedural documents;
• Good interpersonal skills, excellent team leader/member;
• Highly developed coaching and leadership skills;
• Customer centric;
• Creative and problem-solving mind-set, as well as critical thinking;
• Attitude to think outside the box;
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
