About us

Founded in 2015 CoinFlux is the largest Bitcoin and Ether exchange service in Romania. We've exchanged over 200 million RON worth of cryptocurrencies in over 28 thousand transactions with over 3800 customers.

Our focus is on providing an easy and inexpensive solution for everyone to interact with cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, ether, litecoin and others.

The job

As a member of CoinFlux, you will work on complex challenges in software design and development. You’ll be part of a select team that work with the future of money.

We are looking for a full stack JavaScript developer (NodeJS, Meteor, Angular) to work with cutting edge technology. You will have responsibilities in both the front-end and back-end of our services, implementing server side functions that pull data from storage and bridging the gap between back-end functions and front-end visual elements.

This is what you will do:

• Develop new user-facing features;
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code;
• Integrate data storage solutions;
• Implement security and data protection;
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability;
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

The very best person should have following experience and skills:

• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding Meteor and AngularJS is a plus
• Knowledge of and frameworks available for it such as Express, Hapi, StrongLoop is a plus
• Experience working with cryptocurrencies is a plus
• Fluent in English.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software development.
