Job description

As the Country Manager for Bidspirit, you will be responsible for both the Commercial and Tactical Management of the local market. This includes financial management, identifying priorities, overseeing company requirements, and “hands on” handling of daily business issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction for the Romanian business and develop the country business plan in accordance with Group direction and guidelines.
  • Develop and manage a rolling commercial plan and deliver targeted increases in the market share, footfall, sales and profitability
  • Establish and maintain the brand positioning ensuring consistency with Group marketing strategy but allowing innovation and creativity to meet the needs of the local market.
  • Identify new opportunities of business, develop new client relationships, and successfully discuss business proposals.
  • Keep abreast of current and anticipated market trends in the field, analyze competitors and perform industry benchmarking.
  • Create, deliver and oversee the execution of the Sales, Marketing and Retail strategies, assuring business objectives are met.
  • To represent the Bidspirit brand in contract negotiations. Presenting key investment opportunities to group for prior approval.
  • Report country financial performance in a timely and accurate way.
  • Manage, inspire and motivate all employees to achieve targets, add value and achieve high standards of customer service. Creating a culture where colleagues own and take pride in their own performance.
  • Develop and mentor employees encouraging personal development and enhancement of skill levels, ensuring that training and development takes place where appropriate.
  • Work alongside with bidspirit Group to review, evaluate and improve company systems, processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of prior experience in a commercial role
  • 3+ years' experience in online site management, including Strong marketing and sales abilities.
  • Strong management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, Strong negotiating skills
  • Multi-tasking, Good analytical skills
  • Business degree / MBA - Advantage
  • Excellent English communication - Mother tongue in writing and speaking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel to advanced level able to plan strategically, build consensus and project the Company’s vision
  • The role will require frequent travelling within the country
