Job Logistics Coordinator @ SUNEL Group

SUNEL Group is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Bucharest, Romania.

As a dynamic and growing organization operating in a fast-paced international environment, we are looking for a highly organized and results-driven professional who will play a key role in ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and execution of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities, contributing directly to the operational excellence and continued growth of SUNEL Group.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing and distribution, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Coordinate with project managers and other departments to plan logistics activities.
• Plan and optimize transport loads based on delivery dates, fill rates, and specific customer requirements.
• Consolidate orders to maximize truck fill rates and optimize transport routes, in strict compliance with the delivery deadlines and customer specific requirements.
• Select the most efficient transport mode without compromising delivery commitments and organize the transport capacity based on current demands and urgent needs.
• Knowledge of “RO e-Transport”: Manage the entire UIT code lifecycle, ensuring the issuance, monitoring and closure of e-Transport declarations for all applicable goods, in compliance with ANAF regulations.
• Knowledge of “Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism”: Collect and verify embedded carbon emissions data from suppliers. Prepare quarterly reports and maintain the necessary documentation for customs clearance and reporting obligations.
• Verify all transport (CMR), customs (export/import declarations), and billing documents are compliant prior to dispatch.
• Monitor deliveries in real-time. Verify execution against the planned schedule.
• Identify delays or failures, inform immediately the involved parties and implement corrective actions (rerouting, expedited shipping).
• Analyse discrepancies (damages, shortages, system errors), propose and apply corrective actions.
• Prepare and present reports on logistics activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics planning or transport coordination.
• Strong knowledge of RO e-Transport platform operations. Familiarity with CBAM data requirements is a strong plus.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, data analysis); experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of advanced Excel (pivot tables, data analysis); experience with ERP systems.
• Fluent in English and Romanian.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
