You are a Software Engineer with strong experience in embedded C/C++ development and a solid understanding of software engineering principles. You are comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments and navigating file systems, writing Bash scripts, and managing code using modern version control systems.
You care about writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code. Quality matters to you, from architecture and design documentation to backup, recovery, and restart procedures.
You are confident discussing technical solutions with stakeholders and negotiating the best implementation approach based on business and technical constraints. You enjoy contributing to architectural conversations and supporting less experienced colleagues.

You will join an engineering team responsible for designing and developing software components within larger embedded systems.
Your focus will be on delivering reliable, well-designed applications and contributing to system architecture, while collaborating closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
You will help shape technical solutions, improve development practices, and ensure that implementations align with long-term architectural goals.
📌 Your mission
- Design and develop applications using established templates and development tools
- Contribute to the design of components within larger system architectures
- Produce detailed technical designs (data flows, file layouts, program specifications, prototypes)
- Define and document backup, recovery, and restart procedures
- Negotiate technical solutions with stakeholders based on customer requirements
- Provide technical guidance on feasibility, capabilities, and delivery timelines
- Propose and implement improvements to existing development processes
- Support and mentor less experienced team members
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD workflows
⚙️ Your toolbox
- Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, Bash scripting, and file system navigation
- Basic familiarity with JavaScript
- Experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git, SVN, ClearCase)
- Knowledge of Software Architecture principles (e. g. , C4 Model, TOGAF)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflows
- Ability to propose best practices and process improvements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science (or similar), or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience
- Fluent English (French is a plus)
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally
