Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services written in Go (Golang).
- Build and integrate high-performance RESTful Web APIs.
- Work extensively with PostgreSQL, including schema design, complex queries, and performance tuning.
- Analyze and optimize how the web server interacts with PostgreSQL (connections, transactions, indexing, query optimization).
- Implement data migration, query transformation, and caching logic.
- Collaborate with architecture, QA, and DevOps teams for end-to-end integration.
- Participate in code reviews and help define best practices for Go and SQL development.
Qualifications
- 8 years of professional software development experience, including at least 3–4 years with Golang.
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL – query optimization, indexing, partitioning, database design.
- Deep understanding of Web API architecture and backend performance optimization.
- Proven experience with data transfers, query transformations, and high-volume data operations.
- Strong knowledge of scalability, concurrency, and caching mechanisms.
- Professional English – written and spoken.
