Responsibilities:
The EOL Program Contractor will be responsible for the identification, management, and mitigation of risks associated with end-of-life software and hardware in our systems.
- Develop and deploy a program to monitor the EoL footprint
- Build out sustainment process & procedures for the EoL Security Program
- Develop and maintain metrics to track the progress and effectiveness of EOL initiatives.
- Analyze metrics to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement in the EOL program. Provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on EOL metrics and dashboards to stakeholders. Ensure reports are accurate, comprehensive, and easy to understand.
Requirements:
- Strong ability self-starts, organize, and proactively engage with others to start and keep momentum on multiple workstreams.
- Deep understanding of software systems, architecture and development life cycles. Familiarity with Cloud technologies, DevOps practices and emerging technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience with MS Office 365 applications, Jira and Confluence, Azure DataBricks and PowerBI
- Ensure project(s) meet all functional and technical specifications and requirements
- Bachelor degree
- Conversational knowledge of common enterprise operating systems, configuration standards, change management processes, security tools, and enterprise security team structure (SOC, Red Team, etc.)
- Applicable certification of relevant experience
Note: This will be an initial 8 months contract (as currently approved), but an extension and long term collaboration is expected.
