ABOUT THE PROJECT

Together with one of their clients - a financial technology company - they develop leading software solutions for asset tokenization. The clients benefit from all building blocks, services and licenses needed to issue tokenized securities and manage decentralized security registries. The presence of a high number of intermediaries like banks and custodians leads to high transaction costs on the capital market. They are using Distributed Ledger Technology to provide a global capital market 2. 0 that works for everyone without intermediaries. They’re on a mission to create a more open access to capital and therefore more thriving ideas coming to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• ⏩ Migration of current infrastructure into the AWS Cloud (EKS);
• ⏩ Development of state-of-the-art solutions to run a secure and reliable AWS Cloud and on-premise Infrastructure for internal and external services;
• ⏩ Development of Infrastructure as Code in Terraform or CDK;
• ⏩ Provisioning of CI/CD-Pipelines;
• ⏩ Process automation with respect to operations, deployment, and infrastructure in Python, Bash, or any other suitable programming language;
• ⏩ Design and implementation of suitable and sufficient monitoring and alerting solutions to support the development and support team;
• ⏩ Review of product concepts in order to give feedback and clarify infrastructural and operational needs;
• ⏩ Consulting of the product team to all questions related to infrastructure and operations;
• ⏩ Knowledge sharing among the engineering team in internal learning sessions;

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE

• ✅ Extensive experience in a DevOps or AWS Cloud Engineer role;
• ✅ Extensive practical experience with and knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and Postgres databases;
• ✅ Proven experience with CDK or Terraform;
• ✅ Experience with Linux-based production environments (eg: Ansible, Ubuntu);
• ✅ Proficient in English communication skills;
• ✅ A “Security mindset”;

Nice to have:

• ✅ General knowledge in Application and/or CI/CD Security (z. B. OWASP Top 10, OWASP Top 10 CI/CD);
• ✅ Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana;
• ✅ Experience with Logging
