About the role

We’re looking for a friendly and motivated new team member to join our Engineering department here at Goldie. As a Web Developer, your role involves ensuring our web application is visually appealing and user-friendly. You’ll plan, develop, and maintain software solutions to enhance our digital product.

Core responsibilities

• Craft well-designed and robust code that follows our commitment to product quality and best practices
• Collaborate with Engineering Leaders to guide meaningful decisions about upcoming features
• Build new features for reuse, working with other engineering teams to develop a scalable project with a clean architecture
• Support roadmap planning via engineering insights and cost estimations
• Monitor performance of running systems and, if needed, optimize them

Core requirements & qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar degree
• 7+ years of frontend software development experience
• 4+ years of React experience
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Ability to handle time sensitive issues
• Ability to coordinate, collaborate and communicate with peers
• Proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD, code versioning, and SDLC processes
• High attention towards performance optimizations, system scalability, availability and application stability
• Experience with Websockets
• DevOps experience
