About you

Have you ever wanted to know what it is like to build a startup from the ground up and have the creative and engineering freedom to do so? We are looking for a remote Full Stack Developer to join our young, dynamic and passionate team at Nestor.

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll pioneer new features and will be a key person in shipping fast, scaling up, and staying secure for our product. You'll have the opportunity to design and develop large scale web applications, have a global opening, exercise your curiosity and grow your technical, product, and soft skills.

Our ideal teammate

• has an entrepreneurial mindset and is laser-focused on problem-solving
• has strong analytical thinking abilities and is open to embrace change and challenges in a dynamic work environment
• has at least 2 years experience with modern web application frameworks (ReactJS, NodeJS, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, Sass/Less)
• has a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• is familiar with Relational Databases, SQL language and AWS infrastructure

Job responsibilities

• entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast and iterative development environment, responsible for contributing to the tech stack and direction of the product
• write production-ready code
• build and deploy modular and scalable APIs
• write and integrate front-end and back-end code
• write optimized SQL queries and experience with relational databases
• understanding of CI/CD engineering practices
• basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, SES, AWSCodeDeploy)
• work with CSS processors and frameworks (e. g. Sass, Less).
• secure APIs and data with industry best practices
• take initiative in improving the product to address pain points and come up with robust solutions
• lead by example, offer guidance and support to your teammates
• be a leader for the culture we are building and promote our values
• contribute to the design and development of large scale web applications
