Job DevOps Engineer @ AROBS

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps/System Administrator with a strong background in Linux to join our team. You will play a critical role in building, deploying, and maintaining on-premises platforms tailored for distributed and containerized web applications. This position requires a candidate who thrives in highly restrictive environments, ensuring high availability, secure connectivity, and strict compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Your work will directly impact the deployment of cutting-edge medical software to hospitals, enhancing the efficiency of healthcare systems in highly secure, enclosed networks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Deployment & Maintenance:

• Design, configure, and maintain Linux-based on-premise platforms for deploying distributed and containerized applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

2. High Availability & Disaster Recovery:

• Implement and manage solutions for high availability and disaster recovery to ensure system resilience.
• Monitor platform performance, resolve bottlenecks, and conduct root cause analysis.

3. Secure Connectivity:

• Design and implement secure connectivity solutions, including VPNs, firewalls, and network segmentation.
• Ensure compliance with strict cybersecurity standards for enclosed network environments.

4. Containerization & Orchestration:

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker or similar technologies.
• Implement orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes or OpenShift tailored for on-prem environments.

5. Compliance & Security:

• Maintain compliance with industry regulations (e. g. , HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and system hardening.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work closely with software development teams to ensure seamless deployment of medical applications.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation for system configurations and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator, with a focus on Linux environments.

Technical Skills:

• Expert in Linux system administration (e. g. , RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in configuring and managing containerization tools (Docker, Podman).
• Hands-on experience with orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Strong knowledge of networking and security protocols (SSL/TLS, IPsec, etc.) .
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
• Cybersecurity Expertise:
• Proven experience in system hardening and security for restricted environments.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices for medical or highly regulated industries.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the healthcare or medical software industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, or ISO 13485.
• Certifications: RHCE, Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), CISSP, or equivalent.
