Position Summary/Overview:
The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for the online sales of the brand. He oversees the look and feel of the company website and is responsible for generating sales via online channels. He oversees web and software developers who contribute to website traffic, design and structure.
In this role, he/she will work in collaboration with marketing and product management, engineering, sales management and key business partners, to maximize the profitability of the business, and he/she will align eCommerce Strategies with other stakeholders, ensuring key decisions are achieved.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and reporting.
- Develop and implement eCommerce Strategy in order to improve website performance;
- Work with developers to improve website speed;
- Work with the marketing team or manage digital marketers in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition;
- Research market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance;
- Analyze various data in order to deliver data driven strategies to deliver top performance and achieve KPIs;
- Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, affiliates, email marketing and social media;
- Develop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development;
- Develop reports to analyze website performance, including Sales and Marketing reports;
- Implement updates and upgrade in a timely manner to limit loss of service time;
- Correction test - identifying problems and recommend actions for their resolution;
- Work with various internal and external stakeholders and contractors to develop new content and manage existing content for web systems;
- Actively take part in the support of the technical issues in coordination with the support team.
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role. Experience within digital marketing is a plus;
- In depths knowledge of marketing principles with a focus on digital marketing and eCommerce;
- Travel business/technology related experience a plus;
- Strong stakeholder management, able to develop trusted working relationships across business boundaries;
- Solid project management principles knowledge;
- Experience working using agile methodologies in product development;
- Experience managing product life cycles end to end;
- Experience working with and developing consumer-facing digital technologies, such as websites and/or apps, ideally in a travel, retail or equivalent environment;
- Experience in written and oral presentations;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both English and Romanian);
- Concise and structured communication;
- Knowledge of Sitecore is an asset.
