You are a senior backend engineer with 10+ years of experience, confident in building and maintaining enterprise-grade systems. This mission is hybrid, with 2–3 days per week onsite in Bucharest.
🚀 Then what?
We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to develop, maintain, and migrate cloud-based applications, with a strong focus on business process automation using Camunda. You will model, integrate, and automate workflows, while delivering high-quality, resilient backend systems.
📌 Your mission
- Build features end-to-end in an Agile framework
- Design and maintain Java / Spring Boot backend applications
- Model and automate business processes using BPMN and Camunda 8 (or 7)
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs
- Work with asynchronous, event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Apply best practices for idempotency, compensation patterns, and eventual consistency
- Support production systems and mentor other teams
⚙️ Your toolbox
- 10+ years in backend development
- Java / JEE, Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate, JTA or Spring Data
- BPMN modeling and Camunda (8 preferred)
- REST APIs (JAX-RS or Spring MVC)
- Event-driven architectures and message brokers
- Redis caching, SQL/PostgreSQL, basic Linux
- CI/CD tools: Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Git
- Cloud-oriented mindset
