Agricrafters is building the largest blueberry plantation in Europe.
This is our direction.
We have solid experience with traditional plantations and, at the same time, we are taking a bold step forward: developing blueberry production in pots, a relatively new system that is built and refined over time.
Blueberries are our sole focus. We do not follow fixed recipes, nor do we promise perfection. We work, learn, and move forward with what proves sustainable in the long run.
WHY THIS ROLE
We are looking for an Agronomist to coordinate and optimize agricultural activities within a developing project, contributing directly to increased productivity and efficiency of our blueberry plantations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Be responsible for phenological monitoring of crops, assessing growth stages, identifying weeds and pests, and proposing corrective or preventive interventions;
- Organize agricultural production processes, including maintenance activities and the management of equipment, materials, and human resources;
- Be directly involved in planning, organizing and monitoring daily agricultural operations;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative technologies and methods, process optimization and resource management;
- Work closely with field teams, project managers and direct supervisors, providing regular technical reports and recommendations;
- Actively contribute to the professional development of the team through training and knowledge transfer.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy
- Relevant experience in blueberry plantations, both traditional and container-grown systems
- Digital competencies (familiarity with agricultural monitoring applications)
- English language skills – minimum conversational level
- Valid driving license – considered an advantage
- Experience in coordinating agricultural activities and optimizing processes
- A hands-on mindset and a genuine desire to build
- Comfort working within a business that is still taking shape
- Ability to learn on the go and take ownership of outcomes
