WHY THIS ROLE
We are looking for a Financial Controller who will own cash visibility, budgeting discipline, and financial decision support in a fast-growing agricultural operation.
This role exists to bring financial clarity into a business defined by seasonality, continuous investment, and operational volatility, where decisions must be grounded in numbers, not assumptions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will contribute to:
- Designing and structuring the financial controlling framework, including analytical models and performance indicators
- Implementing and maintaining management financial reporting
- Building and managing the budgeting and forecasting process
- Translating operational data into clear financial insights for management decision-making
- Identifying deviations, risks, and cash pressure points before they become problems
You will work closely with:
- Farm operations and management
- Finance and accounting team
- Banking partners, supporting cash planning and financing discussions (scope depending on seniority)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Relevant experience in financial controlling
- Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of cash flow, budgeting, and variance analysis
- A hands-on mindset, with the ability to build structures, not just follow them
- Comfort working in a business that is still in formation, with evolving processes
- Ownership mentality and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
