SAP GTS Consultant (B2B role)
About the role:
An International organization is seeking a talented Consultant specializing in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) to enhance their international trade and sales operations. The role is for an initial period of 12 months + and demands a proactive individual who can navigate complex compliance landscapes and drive efficiencies in a rapidly evolving global business environment. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to optimizing trade processes and integrating innovative SAP solutions, contributing to the overall success and competitive edge of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support SAP GTS implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Analyze business requirements and design scalable SAP solutions tailored to international trade.
- Configure SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management and Risk Management.
- Support the transition from SAP GTS 2023 for HANA with SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
- Monitor SAP S/4HANA International Trade module developments for potential GTS replacement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI, etc.) .
- Provide technical documentation and training while offering 2nd level support to end users.
- Monitor and resolve system issues to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Stay current with SAP innovations and best practices related to GTS.
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Informatics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP GTS.
- Proven track record in SAP configuration and consultancy / project delivery.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Understanding of international trade regulations and compliance (preferred).
- Familiarity with EDI and integration technologies.
