Looking for a Senior QA Engineer for a venture backed games start-up headquartered in London (United Kingdom) building competitive real money casual skill games for the US and European market.
The founders have over 10 years experience in building successful mobile games, having
led several products that reached over $200 million in yearly revenue.
The team has the liberty to make technical decisions - considering design, architecture, infrastructure and deployment, it is also be encouraged.
They like to have a friendly and fun atmosphere in the company, where people feel comfortable with their colleagues both in a working environment, but also in an environment outside of work.
They just attracted another round of investment, so their plans for 2023 are to grow their team and work on their third game.
Fully remote.

REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of professional experience doing quality assurance on mobile game titles;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Knowledge of quality standards in mobile game titles;
- Good time management;
- Good written and verbal communication in English;
- Experience with TestRail or a similar test case management tool;
- Throttling network connection (Charles/Fiddler);
- Experience sending web requests with Postman;
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision;
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating and reviewing test cases;
- Functional and non functional testing;
- Manually test the product (as a foundation to other testing activities);
- Performance testing would be a plus;
- Communicating with other disciplines in the company;
- Support team members on priority releases;
- Raising issues and delays early;
- Mentoring and training new employees (having Leadership experience is a plus);
- Set the quality standards for what a successful mobile game should look & behave.

A team of 14 people spread across UK and Romania:
- 3 Server-Side Developers (C#);
- 3 Client-Side Developers (Unity);
- 2 UI/UX Artists;
- 1 QA Engineer;
- 1 Customer Support;
- + management team.
