elefant.ro is one of the biggest ecommerce companies in Romania. Over a million of green boxes were delivered to hundreds of thousand of customers and this year we’re set to double on that :)
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst. You will translate data into insights that lead to business decisions.
- You’ll untackle large data sets regarding our customers’ behaviour in order to inform future business decisions
- Handle full-cycle analysis activities: from requirements, design, to development and report.
- Analyze the results produced to make inferences about sample sets.
- Write reports and recommendations to project managers based on results.
- Develop, together with the product team, the methods for pricing and product tests.
- Present the findings to top level executives with advice for the next steps.
- Research new methods for the optimization of data analysis and synthesis.
- Apply ETL operations on existing datasets.
Requirements
- You have a proven track record in an analytical role, with strong examples of having made an impact in the organization.
- You have a minimum 3 years experience in this field.
- You know how to write code in either R or Python.
- You have solid understanding of availble algorithms, especially classification and regression.
- You are comfortable working autonomously.
- Outstanding analytical skills, especially synthesizing, dissecting, and interpreting big data.

Throughout this position you’ll develop ecommerce domain expertise, the fastest growing industry in CEE.
