Job Embedded Systems Software Developer @ Piaxo

Piaxo team is looking for a colleague who has a good understanding of AUTOSAR, embedded software and related concepts. A colleague who is open to participate in development of NextGen complex and interesting AUTOMOTIVE projects for AUTONOMOUS Driving platforms. Candidate must have the ability to work well with team members to understand, develop and integrate software applications. This position requires an individual that is results driven, motivated, quality focused and has the ability to work within a high performing team (engineers with over 10 years of experience).

The Product’s technology includes AUTOSAR, Multi-Core architectures, Linux, Cyber Security and much more.

Job Description

• Understand and integrate embedded software product for a new revolutionary Automotive Autonomous driving platform for a client outside of Romania.
• Review and understand Technical References and Data Sheets for the system’s microcontroller.
• Design and implement embedded software using C.
• Development and Integration of AUTOSAR Software components using Vector Tools.
• Participate in software process improvement activities.

Job Requirements

• Embedded software development experience
• Good understanding of AUTOSAR concepts.
• AUTOSAR BSW modules development or integration experience.
• Understanding of AUTOSAR SW-C concepts
• Basic understanding of Embedded OS concepts
• Flexibility and open to work across whole system and layers.
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Communication skills (English)

Preferred

• Experience with software coding using C language
• Experience with debugging and problem resolution
• Experience with Vector Tools (DaVinci, Canoe)
• Experience with cross compilers and cross assemblers
• Experience with 8-bit, 16-bit or 32-bit microcontrollers and common peripherals (i. e. , ADC, SPI)
• Familiarity with software development techniques and methodologies
• Familiarity with Vector based analysis and development tools
• Familiarity with serial communications development and debugging (i. e. , CAN)
• Familiarity with standard software development environments (IDE)
• Familiarity with MISRA standards and verification tools
• Experience in other fields beside automotive.
