As a Senior PHP Back-End developer you will work together with a great Team of PHP devs using technologies that are about to migrate to an up to date technology stack

What we’re using

• AWS as out main cloud solution in combination with Vagrant
• Our back-end is mainly PHP with some flavours of Laravel supported by MySql and Redis
• In Front-End you will find Javascript, TypeScript, ReactJS
• We speak Git, Jenkins and Selenium
• Our platforms are powered by a strong design team collaborating through Zeplin and InVision

Some of your focus areas will be

• You’ll be a hands-on engineer who can teach best practice within your team ensuring technical excellence
• You will support the tech lead and work together with your colleagues in achieving the technical objectives
• Focus on application security and scalability
• Review code to ensure it is efficient, well-tested, documented and optimal
• You’ll be focused on continuously improving our engineering processes and practices, quality and deliverables
• Unit testing

A bit about you

• You’ve extensively worked with PHP, OOP, Design Patterns, various frameworks, asynchronous message queues and have experience with microservices architecture
• Experienced working with SQL databases, query optimization and transactions
• Your code reads like well-written prose
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience in developing and scaling a microservice oriented system (high availability and security)
• You worked with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Have a passion for building quality into every software development activity
• You are a practitioner of agile development with a track record of learning from your actions to make positive adjustments.
