Job QA Engineer @ Halcyon Mobile

We're searching for a passionate QA Engineer to join our team in Cluj.

What we are looking for

• Mobile app testing and troubleshooting on iOS and Android.
• Web app testing and troubleshooting on Chrome, Safari or other browsers.
• Web Services / API testing (Postman, SoapUI or similar).
• Good mobile and web debugging skills (Charles Proxy or similar)
• Motivated, self-starting individual and a team player.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Prior mobile device, application or content management experience.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Mastery of agile methodologies and teamwork with a focus on sharing knowledge with other experts.
• An "I can do it! " attitude to challenge the mobile app status quo.
• Mobile and web test automation is a plus (Appium, Espresso, Sauce Labs, Selenium WebDriver or similar).

What you will have to do

• Always accountable for the performance and actions of self or team. Assumes full responsibility for duties, assignments, and timelines.
• Demonstrates outstanding independence and follow-through on job assignments. Aggressively addresses and resolves problems, and actively improves processes, products, and/or services. Continuously looks for situations that could be improved.
• Demonstrates strong ability to take ownership of the project(s) and provide adequate visibility on the progress.
• Applies test methodology, engineering and product knowledge in the design of tests and testing strategies for the analysis and certification of products.
• Responsible for the overall success of testing. Manages assigned projects from Quality Testing through final user Acceptance Testing.
• Participates in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, performance, and system testing.
• Attention to detail and passion for creating the perfect user experience.
• Work closely with designers and developers to ensure that the mobile applications have the functionality and feel that end users love, and drive improvements to the end user experience
