About the job QA Automation Engineer

Imubit builds AI software that helps industrial plants run smarter. Our technology connects to real-time plant data, learns how the process behaves, and then recommends (and in some cases automates) the best operating moves - so teams can improve profit, stability, and energy use every day. We work in complex environments like refineries and chemical plants, where reliability and security matter as much as accuracy. Our platform is built to scale across many sites and supports both cloud and on-premise deployments, so customers can adopt it in the way that fits their operations.

In this role you will:

• Develop automation suite, including e2e testing, component and unit test to verify mission-critical software that integrates with and operates production systems
• Develop using Typescript and utilize its rich ecosystem including the latest frameworks
• Take part in architecture, design, and implementation of our flagship product
• Measure, analyze, and improve existing code to enhance functionality, performance, and robustness
• Take an active role in coding best practices processes such as code reviews, unit testing, and automated test development. Review team members' code and get your own code reviewed by the team and continuously improve your development skills
• Test cases, documentation
• Manual testing and automation

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as QA Automation Engineer
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Knowledge of Playwright
• Experience in API testing
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and best practices
• Autodidact with extreme passion for new technologies and design concepts
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Team player, sense of ownership, and sense of urgency
• Highly motivated to deliver a premium product with no compromises
• Independent and proactive approach
• Cluj based and willing to come to the office 2 days/week (Monday and Tuesday)

Nice to have:

• Graduate of BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Knowledge in Python - PyTest, Playwright
• Knowledge of mocking frameworks and libraries
• Knowledge in DBs like Postgres or MongoDB
• Knowledge of Docker, version control (such as Git, Gitlab), cloud technologies (such as AWS)
