Solution Architect – Modern Engineering & Automation
We’re looking for a Solution Architect who combines strong engineering fundamentals with curiosity for modern AI, automation, and agentic systems. You don’t need deep AI expertise on day one — but you should have experience building large-scale systems in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript and be eager to grow into next‑gen AI architectures.
This is a hands-on, technical leadership role within our new Agentic AI & Process Automation Centre of Excellence, shaping how AI-powered agents, enterprise systems, and automation workflows transform business and IT operations.
What You Will Do
Architect intelligent and agentic platforms
- Design end-to-end architectures for conversational, automation, and multi‑agent systems.
- Define how AI agents interact with enterprise tools, APIs, and human users.
- Create secure, scalable patterns for knowledge retrieval and workflow automation.
- Produce architecture diagrams and documentation for engineering and customer teams.
- Ensure solutions are resilient, observable, secure, and production-ready.
Partner with customers
- Lead discovery sessions to understand goals, systems, and constraints.
- Shape AI architecture for proposals, SoWs, and solution options.
- Communicate complex concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Support PoCs and pilots to validate feasibility and value.
- Guide customers from simple automation toward agentic ecosystems.
Research & continuous improvement
- Stay current with emerging AI models, frameworks, and tools.
- Evaluate new tech through structured tests and experiments.
- Contribute to reusable patterns, playbooks, and best practices.
- Optimize for cost, scale, and performance.
Embed governance & compliance
- Incorporate guardrails, access control, and responsible‑AI principles.
- Work with security and compliance teams to meet enterprise standards.
- Define observability, auditability, and incident‑response requirements.
What You Bring
Background in roles such as Solution Architect, Software Architect, Cloud Architect, Integration Architect, or Lead Engineer, with strong expertise in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with:
- Distributed systems, APIs, and automation workflows.
- Cloud-native architectures (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Prototyping and building PoCs.
- Identity, security, and data protection.
- Monitoring, observability, and operational readiness.
You are:
