Job Ruby on Rails Developer @ TurboSquid

TurboSquid is looking for a Full Stack Developer that is experienced in Rails and interested in cutting edge technologies like React, ElasticSearch and many more!

Duties

• Pipe into a existing workflow and complex source code to build from ground up several important features on a high profile 3d content marketplace.
• Be instrumental in the rebuild and total makeover of a existing website into a Ruby on Rails stack while adapting a larger Rails code base to custom application needs.
• Come up with solutions and work on a Rails API on both ends in order to connect with an existing user and content management system.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge and experience in Ruby on Rails.
• Database: SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with JS/HTML/SCSS
• Source Control: Git (Github)
• Progress Management: Asana, JIRA
• Self-motivated and proactive. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and take creative feedback constructively.

Nice to have

• ReactJS
• ES6, Babel and Bootstrap
• DB: MySQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB
• Automated testing
