Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience certifications). ︁︃︁︀︌︃︌︀​︂︆︄︆​︁︁︎︌​︈︂︇︍​︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎
• English Proficiency
• Proven experience (5+ years) in site administration and DevOps related tasks;
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration;
• Experience with AWS services and infrastructure;
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e. g. , Bash, etc).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e. g. , Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ) ;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e. g. , Terraform, CloudFormation);
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes, ECS);
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication and collaboration skills for interacting with development team and non-tech personnel;
• AWS certifications (e. g. , AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e. g. , Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e. g. , Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of networking protocols and security best practices.
• Experience with administrating nGinx
• Experience with database administration and configuration. (e. g. MySQL, Redis)

Responsabilities

Server Administration:

• Maintain and monitor the health and performance of our production servers and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning
• Install, configure, and update server software and applications.
• Monitor system logs and performance metrics.

DevOps Engineering:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments;
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools (e. g. , Terraform, CloudFormation);
• Develop and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (e. g. , CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack);
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability;
• Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and performance issues;
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).

AWS Management:

• Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, and others;
• Implement and manage AWS security services (e. g. , IAM, Security Groups, NACLs);
• Optimize AWS costs and resource utilization;
• Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning and management using CloudFormation or Terraform;
• Troubleshoot AWS related issues.
