We’re on the lookout for an efficient Sales Support Business to be responsible for administrative duties and assisting the sales department in gaining and keeping customers. In this role you will be tracking sales leads, coordinating quotes with sales packs, providing customer service, and managing customer accounts.
In this role, you will help our business partner to grow by improving their sales process and productivity. Sales are the biggest driver of the company’s success, so your position plays a crucial role at our company.
Our business partner is part of a rapidly European growing company group, headquartered in Belgium, that operates in 15 countries. It is specialized in the distribution and conversion of innovative solutions for thermal insulation, high-temperature insulation, passive fire protection, and acoustic insulation.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
- Experience in the sale of technical insulation, fastening technology products, passive fire protection products, high-temperature insulation solutions, and acoustic insulation-nice to have
- Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Experience in administration and high-volume office work may be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to assist sales teams with any additional work as needed with a can-do attitude
- Attention to detail is necessary as well as being a people person with excellent customer service knowledge
- Good stress management and analytic thinking with high attention to details
- Proficiency in English
- A BS degree in Marketing or an associates degree in a relevant field is a plus
Main responsibility
- Answering customer inquiries, scheduling meetings, and sales appointments, and following up with customers about their order status
- Creating and processing orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems
- Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
- Handling administrative duties for the company and its executives and management teams.
- Assisting and performing daily transportation organization tasks
- Scheduling customer meetings and conferences.
- Involved in the inventory management process
- Reporting any unusual activity to your supervisors
