We’re looking for a Operations and People Manager to help build our awesome team while preserving and improving upon our culture, working environment, and productivity.

This role will encompass a broad operational role - from keeping track of accounts and ensuring the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, as well as a significant focus on people operations and HR - recruitment, on-boarding, employer branding, training and performance management. Finding, keeping, and getting the best from a talented team is key to our success, so you’ll have a huge strategic and operational impact on the company.

Office tasks

  • Organizing the office layout and ordering stationery and equipment
  • Maintaining the office condition and arranging necessary repairs
  • Update and maintain office policies as necessary
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
  • Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements)
  • Maintenance, mailing, supplies, bills, salaries and taxes.

Source and attract great people: Finding ways to build a hiring pipeline so that we can fill open roles with the right people, faster - a key focus here will be building our employer brand.

Process improvement: Analysing existing processes to find and implement ways to improve the hiring and selection process.

Own the recruitment process: Running the recruitment process from start to finish, from finding candidates, reviewing applications, scheduling and assisting with interviews, delivering feedback, making offers, and getting people through the door.

On-boarding with excellence: Ensuring a smooth on-boarding process, and planning appropriately so that new team members always have what they need on day 1.

World-class benefits & retention: Reviewing existing benefits, compensation and amenities to help keep our team as happy and productive as possible.

Scaling the learning curve: Helping the team to learn and develop quickly, from organising training to planning and following up on quarterly reviews

This is a temporary appointment, envisaged to be initially for 15 months with the potential for extension.
