Job Mid to Senior PHP/Golang Developer

We are looking for a Mid to Senior PHP/​Golang developer who is dedicated to their craft that can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-​base of our products in meaningful ways while following the KISS and DRY methodologies.

You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the on-​going software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. We work hard, play hard. We have a ping pong table, pool table, team lunches, and snacks available in the office.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, readable, well designed code
• Produce detailed specifications
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality with KISS/​DRY in mind
• Follow industry best practices
• Familiar with PHP frameworks, especially Laravel framework a plus
• Working with a team to develop simple, optimized code
• MySQL experience
• VueJS experience is a plus
• Golang experience is a plus
• Docker experience is a plus
• Familiar with LEMP

Qualifications

• Proven software development experience in PHP
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc
• Good knowledge of version control tools and of developing web services, especially Git
• Object oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience with common third-​party APIs
• Linux familiarity
• Working in a team environment
