Wunder Carpool is seeking a Product Design Lead (m/f) who will drive our design team, push boundaries, influence strategy, and make a strong impact on product execution and quality. As a Product Design Lead, you have both an incredible eye for detail and an ability to think big, break new ground, and innovate. You have experience designing for mobile (native apps and mobile web), desktop web, and email, and you have the technical chops to build prototypes that demonstrate the finer details in transitions, animations, and complex interactions.
You’re also an excellent communicator and a flexible team player that can thrive in a very fast-paced, dynamic working environment. You are comfortable working closely with passionate designers, product managers, and engineers that care deeply about creating beautiful, high-impact experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and influence your team of designers to make sure we are continuously shipping high quality.
- Attract, excite and retain the best designing talent for Wunder.
- Create and test design concepts, workflows and prototypes to make sure the conversion rate is optimized.
- Create user stories with a good understanding of the user and the use case. Experience in generating comprehensive information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for iOS, Android, web, and email.
- Know how to present your work to the team effectively, and articulately communicate design rationale to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design lead experience.
- Proven track of managing a design team.
- Background in design (UX/UI design) for various platforms (iOS, Android, mobile web, etc.), with a special focus on mobile app.
- Excellent visual and interaction design skills.
- Experience in design tools: Sketch, Illustrator, etc. ( the tool that we currently use is Sketch)
- Mastery of prototyping tools: Framer, Axure, Origami, etc.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced start-up is a must.
