Role overview

We are looking for a Sales Team Lead for the Metal Cloud division of Bigstep. This challenging role requires the successful candidate to be both a good leader as well as a strong individual contributor. Whether you are currently a strong team lead or a strong individual contributor but ready to tackle the next challenge of being a team lead, this should be an ideal role. Bigstep Metal Cloud is a best-​in-​class product selling globally with global visibility.


1. Team Lead

  • Lead a team of account representatives;
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives;
  • Monitor sales metrics (. monthly and quarterly sales results and forecasts);
  • Delegate Tasks and Set Deadlines;
  • Work with the management to develop, refine and execute the sales strategy and roadmap;
  • Preparing and delivering sales reports to management. Also report on team members performance and mission-​related objectives;
  • To follow the sales plan monthly, quarterly, annually;
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions to the department manager.

2. Account Manager

  • Focus on customer needs to expand and grow relationship; build strong client relationships at the highest possible levels in his account;
  • Drive customer and partner satisfaction through understanding customer needs, providing responsive service to customer issues, integrating partners into the sales process;
  • Sign up new accounts
  • Understand, clarify and drive customers’ business requirements in relation to existing applications;
  • Some travel is required (up to 30% of working time).


  • Significant and successful sales experience in the hosting or enterprise space for technology products – minimum 3 to 5 years;
  • Previous team lead experience a plus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-​paced and challenging environment;
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals;
  • An entrepreneurial approach that is creative and passionate.
