As we continue to expand our footprint into 24 African countries, we are seeking a new member for our Customer Support team.
Consider joining the talented staff at Editec as a Service Desk Specialist. The Service Desk Specialist will provide primary technical support to Editec staff and external clients.
The role will be responsible for logging all support requests and resolutions in a ticketing/knowledge base system and following up with customers to confirm issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science;
- Good analytical skills
- Customer support knowledge is a plus
- Experience with gambling applications is considered a plus
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- French is a plus
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team: time management and multi-tasking skills
- SQL knowledge is preferred
- Microsoft Windows and Office suite experience
- Networking knowledge – beginner minimum
- Remote access and virtualization technologies knowledge
- Willing to work in shifts: 7:30/15:00 and weekends: 5 days out of 7 contract
