Job Senior UX Manager @ 3Pillar

3Pillar Global is searching for a senior manager to lead our UX practice in Romania. The most competitive candidates will display a strong understanding user research, interaction design and visual design. They will be a strong leader who can attract and develop colleagues and help improve team operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops effective, growth-centered mentor relationships with designers
• Through regular 1:1s and informal interactions, collaborates with and coaches designers through complex design problems, product ideation, and any interpersonal issues that arise
• Regularly checks in on goals, providing feedback, support and guidance, while simultaneously holding each designer accountable for what they've committed to accomplishing
• Advises operations team on what assignments are the right fit for the client and the designer’s professional development
• Develops and contributes to other initiatives across 3Pillar
• Frequently coaches other team members across the organization
• Provides a noticeably high level of service
• Communicates with excellence and serves as a mediator and trust builder between teams across and outside 3Pillar
• Inspires a dynamic and valued work environment aligned to corporate vision
• Consistently thinks ahead and leverages knowledge to create faster and stronger solutions, while minimizing risk impact to organization
• Communicates 3Pillar Strategy and ensures alignment to project work

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years experience
• Expertise in all major UX disciplines (research, interaction design, emotion design)
• Deep passion for educating, coaching and mentoring
• Influence leader able to work across functions (Sales, Engineering, Marketing)
• Deep understanding of customer needs and how to effectively incorporate them into design
• Thorough understanding and application of established best practices and methodologies including design thinking to solve complex challenges
• Knowledge of cutting-edge design conventions and interactions and how to apply them
