Your job

You ensure that the country’s growth and efficiency plans are in place and followed through, as well as continuously improving the quality of the service offered.


You are responsible for the planning, staffing and management of our courier workforce. In this role, you identify and implement improvement projects designed to maximize efficiency and service levels.


Your scope

You have an open ear and eye for the Operations Coordinators who operate decentralized in various locations in Romania and have an eye on how you can help them to become even more effective and efficient in the operational area, so that in the end the overall performance of your hitting responsible cities through the roof, taking our entire scooter business to the next level.


Scoober, what's that?

Takeaway.com owns its own delivery service network, called Scoober, which operates in numerous cities in Europe. With our own drivers, we build the bridge between restaurants and customers.


Your area of responsibility

  • You take over the leadership and responsibility of the operational team, so-called City Coordinators.
  • You are the interface between City Coordinators and the Country Manager and work from our office in Bucharest
  • You visit the City Coordinators on site on a regular basis to ensure the development and optimization of processes in each city
  • You are responsible for the cost centers. Constantly optimizing, driving and structuring the logistical processes
  • You are focused to achieve the possible efficiency in terms of service levels, costs and the further growth of the cities
  • Developing strong relationships with the sales and customer service departments for effective collaboration and information sharing
  • Regular evaluation and reporting on KPIs related to growth and development in individual cities
  • You are the contact person and expert for the Scoober Senior Management and are on hand with advice

Your profile

  • 5+ years’ experience in leading a team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of logistics and operational management
  • Ability to achieve results via cross-functional teams
  • You are very self-organized
  • Willingness to travel (about 50% of the time) - since you will travel to the different cities
  • A strong communication and structured way of working
  • Conceptual, analytical thinking
  • Fluent knowledge of English
