Join our dream of making scuba diving more enjoyable for everyone! 

You will be one of our first employees, defining our Social media strategy & setting the base for a community, reporting directly to our CEO. We are looking for somebody who can be a mix of social media manager (acting as our actual brand) & community manager (being him or herself on behalf of Dively).

You will be working remotely most of the time (from home), as the rest of the team sits in France & the UK. As long as you are getting the job done & you are happy, you can work from wherever you want (we actually mean it, I’m writing this, at least this first draft, while looking at a beach in the Carribeans, waiting for my next dive).

We are also partially flexible on the work schedule (you will need to work with the team and sometimes adjust to their schedules).

In the long run, you can grow with the company & after some time get to develop your own team, heading our Marketing efforts.

Ideally we are searching for a full-time member of the team, but we are open to other arrangements if we really feel that fit.

The challenge

Work with the CEO on brand development & on defining our customer archetype (target customers)

Provide inputs to the Head of Design on our visual design & visual branding

Develop & implement Dively’s social media marketing plan

  • Design our social media marketing plan, in line with our overall strategy & design
  • Provide inputs on the impact of strategy & image changes, when needed (as a start-up, we may perform strategic pivots on our direction, strategy, etc)
  • Set-up & track performance indicators that are relevant for our business (under the guidance of the CEO), including by cohort
  • Provide a big picture understanding of how social media content fit into search rankings, and how all content operates within the business’s marketing funnel

Create a brand style guide together with the Head of Design & the team

Be our social media ad wizard (design, create & manage promotion and social ad campaigns)

Keep the day-to-day maintenance of our social accounts (including Facebook & Instagram and other networks, like Meetup)

  • Build & expand community and influencer outreach efforts (focusing on the target market)
  • Create content
  • Motivate & influence other parties to create content for Dively
  • Identify ways in which to motivate followers to create & post content on our pages
  • Identify ways in which to work with colleagues for content creation (ex: Head of Design, CEO)
  • Curate content
  • Manage content
  • Create, schedule & follow content
  • Maintain a consistent voice when writing on behalf of the company
  • Convey passion and excitement for Dively, scuba diving in general & ecology topics
  • Leverage the right tools to manage our content

Manage our user experience concerns

  • Monitor, listen to & respond timely (where the case) to users. Including questions and complaints; adopt a “customer first” mindset; move difficult questions offline
  • Monitor conversations relevant to our business

Conversion Strategy: apply the conversion strategy (as per the social media marketing plan) & pivot on it, engaging other teams where needed

Skills we hope you have or wish to develop

  • Passionate about scuba diving, the ocean, fish, ecology, you name it – we want passion that would make you part a team who loves the oceans. Being an active scuba diver is a plus, but not a must (we'll take it as a challenge to show you how cool it is)
  • Customer-first mindset, with the ability to move difficult questions offline are all important aspects of social customer service
  • Startup mindset is a plus
  • Aptitude for writing (good command of the English & French languages and the ability to express him or herself in writing; advanced writing skills aren’t necessary)
  • Graphics production (good eye for design and the ability to source and edit images is a must-have; advanced graphics skills aren’t necessary, but they would be a plus)
  • (Big plus) Capable of creating images that are on-brand
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”
  • Social advertising experience is a plus (someone not only with experience in the field, but with the drive and passion to keep their skills current in this ever-changing industry)
  • Social Track Record (we will check at least your Facebook & Instagram)
  • Comfortable in a consistent ever-changing environment
  • Can keep up with the pace
  • Can work independently, under the direct guidance of the CEO & in collaboration with the Head of Design where needed
