YOUR ROLE WILL BE TO:
- Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as good as possible, contribute to decision making, and conflict resolution;
- Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values;
- Guiding the Team Members on how to act, achieve and improve as a self-organized team;
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving;
- Find techniques for effective Product Backlog management, getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work;
- Understand product planning in an empirical environment;
- Facilitate Scrum events as requested or needed;
- Coach the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality;
- Help the Development Team to create high-value products;
- Remove impediments affecting the Development Team’s progress;
- Planning Scrum implementations within the organization;
- Collaborate with Delivery Manager in calculating/ forecasting the Releases capacity;
- Help and support the Development process and the Production area when requested or needed;
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example;
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
WE WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO SEE THAT YOU HAVE:
- Proven experience of 4+ years as hands-on Scrum Master for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory;
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency;
- Knowledge of patterns and techniques for monitoring and facilitating efficiently the process (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs);
- Ability to facilitate and run effective meetings;
- Self-starter with the ability to balance many tasks with changing priorities;
- Proven ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and successfully prioritize work;
- Excellent English communication skills – both spoken and written;
- Ability to work in a self-organized team, flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and complying with strict deadlines;
- Proactive behavior, good organizational and time management skills and result-oriented working style;
- Provide a trusted partnership and commitment to the company values, to deliver high quality services to our customers;
- Professionally experienced with project and people management;
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines.
Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus)
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches: Scaled Agile, XP, Kanban, FDD;
- Agile or Scrum master certification such as CSM, PSM I, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI – ACP;
- Experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games;
- Knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives.
