Job description

Our most successful Sales Assistants can build customer loyalty through active client development and follow-​through, maintain an up-​to-​date and detailed client book, and perform activities such as courtesy and relationship emails, invite customers back to the shop, and reactivate passive clients, successfully. On a day to day basis, they use visual techniques to uphold the visual standards according to the guidelines and to maintain the selling floor by:

  • Placing and hanging items
  • Replenishing merchandise
  • Folding and putting merchandise in the right spot
  • Placing tickets inside the item and not visible to the customer
  • sales assistants provide back-​of-​the-​house support by assisting in the markdown process, the bi-​annual inventory process, the achievement of pre-​sale goals, and the stock room maintenance, by putting all stock away in an orderly fashion.


The personal profile of the ideal Sales Assistant includes:

  • Willingness to work in and promote a team oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required to ensure clear, effective communication with all management and staff
  • Consistently showing a positive attitude & take responsibility for own actions
  • Drive for results and flexibility to change
  • Relevant interest in Sport, Fashion, and Design
  • Proven experience in driving sales and meeting sales targets
  • Excellent customer service level
  • Active clienteling background
  • A good fit with the company’s values of being Helpful, Insightful, Value adding and Entrepreneurial
  • A minimum of 1 year in sales, preferably in a luxury or sports fashion retail environment
