DESIGN ENGINEER • Piping and Layout Engineer

In our company the Design Engineers are active members of project teams, responsible for performing engineering/design calculations, reports and drawing activities in accordance with contractual obligations, regulatory and classification requirements and good engineering practices while meeting project budget and schedule objectives.

The primary goal is to provide the engineering expertise and experience to execute the engineering project or services with only a moderate level of supervision (self-starters), while handling the development of the design through the defined engineering process flow at all phases and stages of the contracted design project for his/her area of expertise.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in ship/marine design in his/her field or discipline
• Proficient with AutoCAD (required) and/or AVEVA Marine/E3D/Cadmatic
• Good understanding and knowledge of the design process, phases, stages, and activities involved
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word
