Our Procurement Specialists are responsible for ensuring that the company purchases the goods and services which will help in reaching its targets.
Generally, this means finding supplier partners that strike a balance between quality and cost. This is a position suitable for candidates with 2-3 years work experience mostly focused on sales support, acquisitions or procurement activities.
What will your day-to-day role involve?
As a Procurement Specialist, you will:
- Take part in developing and implementing cost-effective and high-quality procurement strategies
- Source and engage reliable suppliers
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous contractual terms
- Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Keep the product database up to date
- Facilitate product guidance to the teams involved in Sales and Bidding activities
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree, studies in Constructions / Architecture are an advantage
- 2-3 years' relevant experience; preferably exposure to interior fit-out works / furniture
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Details oriented, with good analytical and negotiation skills
- Good command of English and MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiar with working in a CRM / ERP
