Job Remote Java Software Engineer @ Urban Socializing

Accountabilities:

• Deliver high-quality software;
• Help us take our software development process, based on Continuous Delivery and Agile best practices, to the next level;
• Help us grow the next generation of software developers that will join our teams

Key Strengths:

• Hands-on development and delivery experience with Java enterprise related technologies (at least Spring);
• Good command of the Java language;
• Great OOP skills, including design patterns knowledge and enterprise integration;
• Experience working with CI/CD, TDD, Infrastructure as Code concepts;
• Great coding and code review skills. Can debate about topics such as: DDD, Clean Code, Refactoring, etc. ;
• Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics degree or equivalent experience in writing enterprise software products.
• Problem solving and analytical skills;

Would be an advantage:

• Kotlin experience;
• Experience and ability to jump right-in projects based on Kafka, Cloud Computing-GCE/AWS, Spring Reactive stack;
• Successful experience in leading a team of developers and delivery of a projects/product from initial conception to production;
• A keen eye for latest technology trends and ability to create small PoC(s) using them
• Good client interaction skills and experience with software consultancy.
