ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Mid QA Automation Engineer for one of our partners - a US headquartered product company. Their patented software platform brings control, context and compliance to digital transformation and cloud adoption through secure onboarding, classification, and management. Their mission is to help organisations migrate their growing volumes of data to the cloud, and securely manage it there.
As a Mid QA Automation Engineer, you would be contributing to the automation strategy and joining a diverse team working on building their own product, with access to Microsoft’s latest technologies and much more.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the automation strategy and regression testing strategy
- Run and configure tests on a Continuous Integration environment
- Contribute to the performance / non-functional testing strategy
- Identify the root cause, isolate and describe issues
- Analyse user stories, use cases and customer requirements
- Create and update Defect/Tests status Reports
- Give feedback on product issues, keeping in mind the high-level architecture of the system
- Generate and analyse different types of testing reports (automation,
- performance etc.)
- Develop required test documentation and document results in reports
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Solid experience with manual web testing and test cases management
- Some knowledge of automation (regardless of programming language) and the willingness to learn more and shift between languages
- Good technical understanding (operating systems, networking, database, MS Office)
- Good understanding of different development platforms (Java /. Net / Delphi)
- Good scripting skills (VBA, Ruby, Python, Perl, Batch, PowerShell)
- Medium understanding of test automation frameworks (Cucumber, UFT, Selenium)
- Excellent understanding of the testing process (QC/QA position, methodologies, techniques, development methodologies)
- Experience using bug tracking tools (Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla), code repositories
- (SVN, CVS or similar)
