This Technical Recruiter position will source candidates for permenent and contract positions in Romania and across the EU. 

You should have some experience or knowledge of talent sourcing, building a pipeline of candidates, pre-screening and screening techniques, and how to establish, track and analyse recruiting metrics.

Scope of activities

Talent-sourcing:

  • Develop effective tools and social media to attract and identify active and passive candidates for positions both with Hanco and with our external clients;
  • Build and maintain a quality pipeline of candidates for contract or hire with Hanco by cultivating strong relationships and meaningful interactions

Pre-screening and screening of candidates:

  • Develop the relevant competency-based evaluations for hard and soft skills, and hold first interviews with the candidates to check cultural fit and technical ability;
  • Coordinate the end-to-end interview process, in close relation with recruitment operations in India, and divisional hiring managers across the globe;
  • Recommend and drive improvements to enhance and scale our overall recruiting practice and processes with the recruiting team members;
  • Ensure an exceptional Hanco experience for each candidate: - Everyone gets an answer to their application;
  • Establish, track and analyse recruiting metrics (e.g., pipeline and performance data, cost per hire, time to fill) and to share with internal stakeholders on a weekly basis;
  • Advise and consult with hiring managers and interviewers on the recruiting process, interview questions, candidate assessments, market compensation data, etc.;
  • Represent Hanco with integrity at all times, ensuring confidentiality and exercising discretion and well-honed professional judgement, using your working knowledge of applicable employment law as it pertains to hiring practices and recruitment;
  • Act as Hanco brand ambassador in job local and national fairs and attend relevant events for the technical community;
  • Accountable for compliance with hiring administrative procedures;

Minimum Requirements:

  • IT recruitment experience – Prefer 2 years, but negotiable depending on ability;
  • Skills in creating technical teams in a startup-like environment;
  • Kindness, openness and initiative in dealing with candidates' requests;
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Outlook, Sway, PowerPoint and Excel in particular;
  • Fluent written and spoken Romanian is mandatory, and at least a working proficiency with English is preferred. - Fluency in German and any other European languages is a plus.
  • We will favour applicants with a technical background or basic programming skills, particularly HTML, javascript and SQL.
