We're looking for a Product Manager who knows that the best idea sometimes comes from the quietest voice in the room and effectively engages the entire team in finding it. And once found, they can rally everyone towards executing it at high standards.
About the job
It's an amazing time to be joining SEOmonitor, as we continue to transform the digital marketing agencies' way of working, around the world. Our product teams fully support SEOmonitor’s mission of crafting solutions that help agencies focus on what matters.
We empower our product teams to solve hard problems in ways that our customers love, yet make them viable. Our product teams are cross-functional and durable, generally comprising of a product manager, a product designer, and several engineers.
We staff our product teams with the skills necessary to come up with effective solutions that are:
While the product designer is accountable for ensuring the solution is usable and the engineers are accountable for ensuring the solution is feasible and reliable, the product manager is accountable for ensuring the solution is both valuable and viable.
The product manager must collaborate closely with the product designer and engineers to discover effective solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions to market, at high standards.
We hold our product teams accountable for their results. Shipping is necessary, but not sufficient. We look for product managers that are not afraid of committing to delivering specific results, and then relentlessly work with their team - and other teams - to figure it all out.
The product manager is responsible for the outcomes, but not the people in the team. The product teams are self-organizing, with clear roles, in a matrix organizational chart. All the job-specific roles in the product teams will report to the Head of Product or to the Head of Engineering. However, you need to be able to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logic.
Be sure to review the SEOmonitor Culture Handbook to learn more about our culture and the opportunities that come with being a part of our team.
