Job QA Engineer @ eDriving

We have an exciting role for a QA Test Engineer in our Product and Engineering organization! Our team works closely with product, engineering and customer success teams to develop and conduct quality certification tests on our web, api and mobile app products. This role will be part of our new team based in Romania, and working closely with our UK and US Engineering teams. It will begin in a work-from-home capacity.

We are seeking a highly motivated technical person who will help inspire change and help others to constantly come up with better solutions to evaluate product quality, performance and the customer experience; as well as make suggestion for improvements. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and executing tests for eDriving product solutions. Able to deployment manual/automation solutions within the fast-paced product development and production support services. Able to establish and maintain product test standards, procedures and methods to enable seamless software product releases. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing test strategies, and crafting quality assurance practices;
• Contribute to engineering investigations which includes identifying, reproducing, and resolving product defects and customer service requests;
• Collaborates with Product and Engineering teams to identify product and technical requirements;
• Reviews and verifies requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design;
• Partner in developing Quality Assurance test philosophies and methodologies;
• Assists in identifying viable test strategies in order to support testing product functionality;
• Reviews project progress, evaluates results and recommends corrections in technical applications and analysis;
• Implements test automation processes where possible;
• Assist in the identification and resolution of problems and defects; able to initiate investigation processes, identifies and reproduces bugs or defects and drives issues and improvements to resolution.

What you bring to the table

• 3-5 years of experience in QA testing with hands on experience in different kinds of testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience with Test Automation tools for mobile devices.
• Development Experience and background preferred, must be able to work with developer tools in browsers and api testing tools.
• Flexibility to accommodate meetings/availability with global teams across different time zones.
• Experience with infrastructure tools including Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with browser test automation tools preferred.
• Test scenarios involve driving, regular access to a vehicle and valid Driver's License required.
• A comfortable environment to work from home full-time, but with potential to frequent an office in the future or travel internationally from time to time.
