We’re looking for an advertising and marketing wordsmith to join our growing global creative and content team!

A passionate and inspired full-time copywriter with a talent for creating and transforming complex concepts and campaigns into clear, concise and engaging communications. The copywriter should be fluent and able to write effectively in Romanian and English, and have experience developing big creative ideas and applying them to branding, advertising and marketing campaigns. You will craft messages and content that are accessible and informative, but also fulfil the brief, stick to corporate identity, style and tonality, and help differentiate our clients from the crowd.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining the agility and flexibility to write everything from print ads and online banners to landing pages and emails to brochures and collateral to websites, social, mobile and video
- Brainstorming ideas and concepts for the visual and words with other members of the creative team
- Optimize content for email campaigns including clever subject lines, tags, and landing pages
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create effective pitch decks and client presentations
- Develop UX-friendly web copy for client websites, in a broad spectrum of industries
- Create copy for marketing and sales materials including one-sheeters and case studies
- Develop content for Retina sponsored events, conferences and tradeshows
- Editing and proofreading long- and short-form copy with extreme attention to detail
- Working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Taking ownership of projects assigned and ensure they meet agreed deadlines to agreed standards
What we’re looking for
- At least 3 to 5 years of copywriting, content and concept experience in agency, in-house setting, online and traditional – experience working in B2B or business marketing in complex categories a plus
- Fluent and capable of copywriting in both Romanian and English
- Fluency in Microsoft Office/Apple software (Word, PowerPoint, Keynote); knowledge of Adobe Creative suite a plus
- University degree (undergraduate level) in Communications, design or another creatively or culturally interesting field and/or completion of an ad/design school program
- Multi-hyphenate skill set: Digital-traditional-social, Advertising-marketing-content, Long-form and short-form content, Left-brain-right-brain-creative-strategic
- A well-rounded portfolio that reflects innovative copy for a variety of industries
- Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
- A passion for writing; likes to be creative and think outside the box conceptually
- Can provide effective messaging with either precise instruction or creative freedom
- Consistently meets deadlines and has the ability to prioritize multiple projects
- A fun, easy-going personality and sense of humour
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with a team
